To start the day ...

There is a buffet of fresh juices, fresh fruits, cereals and yoghurts. This is followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice served with fresh toast, coffee and tea. Breakfast is served either on the shady terrace in summer or in the warm dining room in winter.

The Inn also offers a sun-drenched swimming pool, surrounded by a courtyard and shady areas in which to sit and relax, either on the verandah or under the vines.

Inside there is a comfortable sitting room to use with plenty of reading matter, a fully licensed bar and a first class restaurant “Pielows at De Oude Herberg” which offers local & international dishes. An interesting selection of award winning wines are available, mostly from the Tulbagh Valley which forms part of the famous Route 62.

During the summer all meals are served outside under the shade of trees and in the winter beside a log fire.
